First aid training for when medical help is 30 minutes or more away. Scenario-based assessment. Short-notice deployment available across WA and nationally.
HR coordinators and site managers frequently need qualified first aid training at short notice, particularly when compliance audits, new rosters, or incident reporting requirements arise away from metro centres. As a sole operator, travel and deployment decisions are made quickly. Email [email protected] with your site location and required timeframe for a fast response on availability. Same-week deployment is often possible.
HLTAID013 covers everything in HLTAID011 and extends patient management for when emergency services are 30 or more minutes away. The course is delivered as scenario-based assessment in realistic group conditions where participants with basic first aid skills assist the advanced participant. This mirrors real-world conditions and is why duration varies between 8 and 12 hours. Refresher participants may complete faster. Full delivery always available on request.
See the full training standards at training.gov.au. Current ARC guidelines available at resus.org.au.
Price varies based on: refresher vs first-time delivery, group size, and travel requirements to your site. Includes individual public sessions or full on-site delivery with accommodation factored in. Email [email protected] with your site location, group size, and timeframe for a specific quote.
8-12 hours depending on group composition and whether participants are refreshing or new. The realistic scenario assessment takes as long as needed to ensure competency.
As a sole trader, the cost of deploying a trainer to a remote or mine site is significantly lower than engaging a large provider. Accommodation and travel costs are factored into the quote but remain competitive. Additionally, a non-accredited Mental Health in the Workplace session can be delivered alongside HLTAID013 in the same visit, covering two compliance obligations without two separate mobilisations.
FIFO rosters, site-based workers, and contractors managing health and safety compliance in remote WA mining operations.
Station workers, farm managers, and rural contractors in remote WA where medical support is 45+ minutes away.
Boat crew, offshore installation teams, and mariners working beyond immediate coastal emergency services.
Health support workers, community health volunteers, and primary care staff in isolated regional locations.
Forestry workers, conservation officers, and field crews working in remote landscapes across WA and nationally.
Anyone working 30 or more minutes from emergency services where self-reliance and extended patient care matter.
Remote first aid is a strategic compliance requirement under SafeWork Australia guidelines for high-risk and isolated work environments. HLTAID013 meets all ASQA standards for Registered Training Organisations and aligns with remote workplace duty-of-care obligations.
