Do I need a USI to complete a first aid course?

Yes. A Unique Student Identifier (USI) is required by law for all nationally recognised training in Australia. You can create one for free at usi.gov.au.

What are the CPR assessment requirements?

CPR must be performed and assessed on the floor for a minimum of 2 continuous minutes. This is a mandatory compliance requirement under Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines.

Does my workplace require HLTAID011 specifically?

Most Australian workplaces require a current first aid qualification to comply with SafeWork requirements. HLTAID011 is the standard. Check your employment contract or ask your manager if you're unsure.

The assessment is practical, not written, and your trainer will guide you through it. If you have any concerns about floor work, discuss this before booking.

Depending on your course format, you'll receive your certificate either on the day (digital copy) or within 5 business days (digital and hard copy). If you're unsure, ask your trainer at the end of the session. Your certificate is issued by ABC First Aid RTO 3399.
